I think this answer actually sealed your defeat. I would expect you to talk about the definition of done that the team has to agree on and how such a dod can look like from your experience. Instead you sound like a junior dev who has to improvise: "100% passing tests". Really? This is such a no brainer that is not worth mentioning. And "nearly 100% code coverage" alone is not a good metric for production readiness.
